Personal data with us
GDPR – Personal Data Act
In May 2018, a new personal data law, GDPR, will come into force. It strengthens individuals’ rights over how companies, authorities and organisations may collect and use your personal data.
The personal data we process is the information you provide when you register for an activity with us, either via our website, by email, text message or telephone. We process information such as your name, address, mobile number, email address and information about your dog(s).
Your information is stored in our course registers and on participant lists used in our operations by employees and partners. This information is deleted for customers who have been inactive for 36 months.
For certain activities, we collaborate with ABF, who also require your personal identification number. You fill this in on a special form. We do not store this information; it is forwarded to ABF.
When we bill you for activities with us, we add the data to our customer register, which we have via Swedbank, Speedledger. This includes your customer number, name, address, and email address. These customer numbers can’t be deleted from the system right now, but Speedledger is working on adding that feature.
Positiva Hunden is responsible for personal data and we do not pass it on or sell it. We only use it for our own activities. Relevant customer data in participant lists or activity registrations is only transferred to our partners in our business. These are Skövde Hundskola, Piela Holistic Dogs and Dog & People.
We send out information and marketing via ‘Get a newsletter’. You have filled in the information yourself via our website and agreed to receive our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
When you register for an activity with us via the website, the booking is made via Touch-Up Dog and payment is made in collaboration with Svea Ekonomi. They are responsible for the personal data you register there.
When you register for an activity with us, you consent to us using this information in our business. We never register information that is not relevant to our business.
Images from our courses or other activities are also posted on our Facebook page and our Instagram account. These images have always been taken with verbal personal consent. We respect 100% the wishes of customers who do not want to be photographed. We only post images that are beneficial to the customer and images that are relevant to that particular purpose.
