When do you have a problem with your dog?
The simplest answer is probably that a problem is what the dog owner perceives as a problem!

A problem does not have to look the same to everyone; for some, it does not matter if the dog pulls on the leash, while for others it is a major problem, such as reactivity when meeting other dogs. No problem is too big or too small to seek help for! It is often better to tackle a problem before it becomes too big. Read more here!

Private training & Private lessons

The dog schools offer three types of private training: private lessons, dog training and Personal Dog Trainer (PDT). Private lessons and private training are offered based on your wishes and needs. This can be anything from getting your dog to stop pulling on the leash during walks to teaching your dog to slalom. As a PDT (Personal Dog Trainer), we offer you an effective, structured and professional way to achieve your and your dog's goals. We start by setting final goals and sub-goals, after which your PDT develops a structured and detailed training plan.

Dog training schools are exactly what they sound like: schools that organise dog training courses, lectures and camps at our newly built dog facility in Skövde, centrally located in Skaraborg, Västergötland.

With us, you can learn everything from training your puppy to more advanced training such as nose work and rally obedience. We offer various types of private training and problem behaviour consultations. We also organise competitions in various dog sports.

What are Hundskolorna / Devoted Dog Sweden AB?

The business started in 2007 and has since then organised dog training courses in Skövde, Västergötland and the surrounding area. However, dogs and dog owners come from all over central Sweden to learn about positive dog ownership.

Today, four people work at the business, teaching everything from handling problem dogs to hunting chanterelles. In 2014, Agneta Sagebrand took over the business and has run it in the same spirit since its inception in 2007, but with a lot of innovation and development.

Some dogs are better suited to their owners and their lifestyle than others. Sometimes the dog is active and the owner passive, sometimes it's the other way around. Some dogs need lots of space, while others just want to sit on your lap. Some are strong and demanding, others are small and easy to handle.

Just like us humans, all dogs are different. We can offer valuable assistance with this type of matching. Contact us here if you are thinking of getting a dog and would like some help.

Our consultation includes an assessment of you and your life situation, an in-depth interview and a discussion about your thoughts on buying a dog. It is important to think carefully and not just choose a dog based on which one is cute. It will be sad for both the dog and the owner if the new life together does not work out.
